This is Severe Weather Preparedness Week in Georgia, and Carroll County Schools is following the leadership of the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency and the US National Weather Service in Peachtree City in helping our students and communities be better prepared for severe weather. Many of our schools will be participating in the statewide severe weather drill on Wednesday, February 7. Local Carroll County emergency management, law enforcement and first responders will be attending the drill at Central Middle School to observe.
