Carroll County Schools

Local clergy visited the Carroll County Schools Performing Arts Center January 12 to hear updates from the school system and also share their feedback in improving communication, programs and collaboration. Speakers included Board of Education Chairman Bryant Turner, Superintendent Scott Cowart and Lead Social Worker Ainsley Whitley. Bowdon High School senior Leila Chambers shared her experience in her local FCA, and provided a song that she will also sing during her FCA huddle at BHS next week. The clergy represented a large cross-section of the faith community in Carroll County and provided specific feedback on attendance zone changes, school safety and student wellness.
