BES's Stone wins $10k prize for ag project

Bowdon Elementary School STEM teacher Meredith Stone is the Grand Prize winner of the Give Back Giveaway from Atlanta's STAR94 and Delta Community Credit Union. Jenn Hobby and representatives from STAR94 and Delta Community Credit Union surprised Stone with a $10,000 check during a student assembly November 16. The grant will support the school's STEM program including the 223 Ag Project which includes the BES farm and school garden.  Congratulations to Mrs. Stone and Bowdon Elementary! #FutureFocused #BuiltByBowdon
