Carroll County Schools Hosts Elementary History Bee

Apr 28 2017

The Carroll County Schools Elementary History Bee was held on Friday, April 28, at Whitesburg Elementary School. Eight teams comprised of students throughout the district participated in the event and competed head-to-head to be the first to “buzz-in” with the correct answer.  Bowdon Elementary School’s team won first place, and the second place title was awarded to Roopville Elementary School.

“The purpose of the Carroll County Elementary History Bee is to inspire students to be excited about learning, competing and having fun with social studies,” said Dr. Marissa Ogando, Principal of Whitesburg Elementary and History Bee Coordinator. “We are very proud of all of this year’s participants and look forward to continuing this program for years to come.”
