Carroll County School System Hosts Annual District Academic Competitions

The Carroll County School System recently hosted its annual Middle and High School District Academic Competitions at the CCS Performing Arts Center.

Middle School Winners:

Bay Springs Middle School earned first place for the second consecutive year, followed by Bowdon Middle School in second place, and Central Middle School finished in third place.

High School Winners:

Mount Zion High School earned first place for the second consecutive year, Villa Rica High School won second place, and Central High School finished in third place.

“All of the teams came prepared for high level competition this year. We are extremely proud of their efforts, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic,” stated Dr. Travis Thomas, Director of Teaching and Learning Secondary Education and Assessment and Academic Meet Coordinator.
