Carroll County High Schools Receive State Recognition for Advanced Placement Programs

The Georgia Department of Education released its list of 2017 AP Honor Schools.  Carroll County High Schools were recognized for high achievement in their Advanced Placement programs.  Central High was awarded AP Champion School, AP STEM Achievement School and AP STEM School.  Temple High School was awarded AP Challenge School and AP STEM School.  Bowdon High School was named AP Challenge School, and Villa Rica High School was recognized as an AP STEM School.


“Carroll County High Schools have a history of being recognized for their outstanding academic performance,” said Scott Cowart, Superintendent of Carroll County Schools.  “We are very proud of our administrators, teachers, and students for continuing to meet and exceed our expectations for academic excellence.”
