Carroll County Schools Student Ambassadors toured the new J.C. Daniell Operations Center today to get a first look at new facilities for Transportation, School Nutrition and Alternative Programs. The system Maintenance Department was not yet ready for tours. The Ambassadors -- representing each middle and high school in the district -- were joined by University of West Georgia Blue Coat Tristian Houston who shared tips on how to balance academics with extra-curricular activities.
Superintendent Scott Cowart kicked off the session which was hosted at the new School Nutrition facility at the Operations Center. School Nutrition Director Bridgett Cross and her team provided lunch for the ambassadors and guests.
The system plans to cut the ribbon on the new operations center on November 14 at 2 p.m. Tours will be available.
