Gifted Education services are provided at all Carroll County Schools for students identified as gifted/talented. Specific questions about the program, its curriculum, and the eligibility criteria should be addressed to the school principal and / or the gifted specialist at the local school. The overall aim is to assist qualifying students in reaching their full potential. Teachers address the Georgia Performance Standards while providing differentiated instruction based on the assessed needs of the students in academics. Activities include more elaborate, complex, and in-depth study of major ideas, problems and themes as an extension of the regular classroom. Some upper grade level services include advanced content and internships.
