The elementary instructional program for Carroll County Schools serves children in grades PK-5. Elementary grades are housed at eleven community school sites as follows: Bowdon Elementary School - Grades PreK - 5 Central Elementary School - Grades PreK - 5 Ithica Elementary School - Grades PreK - 5 Mt. Instructional activities are designed to provide opportunities for students to actively participate in their learning. The elementary curriculum includes an integrated, skill-based language arts program (reading, writing, spelling, and English / language), math, science, social studies, health, physical education and fine arts.
