Character Education

Students in grades PreK-12 receive support and instruction regarding character education. This program is intended to remind students daily, through classroom and community exposure, that their character development is as important to our community as their academic achievement.

Teachers devote time each day to teaching the following character education concepts:

Respect for Yourself Pride

Respect for the Creator Patriotism

Parents are encouraged to be active participants in Carroll County School's Character Education Program through the use of student agendas featuring content regarding the character education topics. Student agendas are provided for all students in grades PreK-12. Weekly topics for Character Education are also posted and shared with parents on a regular basis.
