New Student Registration
Student Registration Center Website

On July 14, 2008, Carroll County Schools began centralized registration of all new Carroll County students. The Student Registration Center is the first stop for new students entering Carroll County Schools, including those transferring from another school district. Student Registration Center staff receive student transcripts and other school records, validate residency, assist parents with completion of registration paperwork, and provide them with information on schools in their attendance area. Parents also receive an access code to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal, an online tool that permits parents real-time access to their child's grades, attendance, and student assignments.

Parents complete less paperwork because duplicate sets of registration paperwork at each child's school is no longer necessary, according to Dr. Christie Johnson, Assistant Superintendent, Administrative and Student Services. Single-site student registration streamlines the registration process for new students by allowing parents to register all children at one location. Following completion of registration, new students and their parents or legal guardians are provided a sealed registration packet to take with them to their child's school. The school receives all information necessary to quickly enroll students in classes.

Debra Wood, Student Information Specialist, is responsible for day-today operaions of the Student Registration Center.

The Student Registration Center is located at the Carroll County Board of Education office, 164 Independence Drive, Carrollton, 30116. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday or by appointment, at 678.423.4801.
